An email I got today:
Mary,
This is Caroline in San Francisco, the one who borrowed The Crossings DVD from you.
Just checked Kimchimamas and saw that you had your baby -- congratulations!!! You must be exhausted -- may I do the Korean thing and bring you some mi-yuk-guk? I remember being totally overwhelmed when my son was born, and that's when my mom was alive and my in-laws were around to help out. Let me know if it's OK for me to drop by with some soup. I'd be happy to do it. :)
Caroline
Not to call her out or make her embarrassed but this totally touched me in more ways that she will ever know and I just want to thank you Caroline from the bottom of my heart.
I love my kimchi mamas.
T.T (those are tears of happiness)

Another pic since we all love pictures.

Aiden is gorgeous, congratulations ^^

Awesome, I love Kimchi Mama friends too! I wish I was still in the Bay Area, then I can also contribute to your soup pot. :)

He's adorable. Congrats!
Hey, if you want miyok-guk, my MIL made us two gallons of it. I've got four pint size bags in the freezer. Though, then the question remain about when I'll get car access to get over to your side of the water...

Thank you for the offer OTRgirl! my friend mom, who i haven't even met, also volunteered to make me mi yuk gook so i think i'm set. thank you SO MUCH for the offer though. it'd be great to have you visit if you get access to a car. =)

OMG, Aiden is so beautiful, this post made me cry, this community has provided so much encouragement and laughs over the past two years! I wish we all lived in the same area so we could help each other out :) I can make some mean mandu!

That is so sweet - I know my wife would have loved if someone else brought some cooking around - I am terrible. So did she ever bring the soup?

@acoustic Thank you.
