I've been griping about my son's college application, but this makes me feel better.

I'll still be glad when this whole process is over though.

I notice that a lot of people use DH for husband... what does it stand for? da husband? haha

@ Mary - it means Dear Husband when you're happy with him and Damnstupidmotherf*cking Husband when he's pissed you off. It's an equal opportunity acronym.

I'm a frequent reader and commenter but am posting Anonymously today for family's sake.
I'm worried about my SIL. When she and her husband got married (after dating for not very long), they didn't know whether or not they wanted to have kids. Now at 35, she knows she really wants them and he doesn't. I'm 1) afraid they're headed for divorce, 2) worried that if they do divorce, it's already too late for her to find Mr. Right in time to become Mr. Baby Daddy for her, and 3) worried about the whole divorce in a Korean family thing.
I know I should give my IL's more credit. They've really stood by me (as a non-Korean), and even though it's always been a very big deal for DH to have a son, they were SUPER supportive when we told them we didn't think we would be able to have kids.
I'm not sure what to do to support my SIL, though. Sigh.

interesting article on Arirang. Our DD's first half of her name is in reference to this song "Arirang" since wanted a name to reflect her heritage.

I just heard about the Na Young Rape Case that took place in South Korea. My heart aches for her, for her mother... I am outraged that this "man" was only sentenced to 12 years in jail. Please read this article and sign the petitions that are pleading with the Korean government to lock up this pedephile for the rest of his life!

That is SO TERRIBLE. I can't believe this and I do hope that somehow, he would be locked up for life.
