I'm not into medal counts and scorecards - really, I'm not.
But has anyone noticed? South Korea is third in number of medals won in the Beijing Olympics thus far. Behind the United States and China, respectively. And no, it's not just for martial arts events. Even if they don't medal in anything else in the remaining days - it's an admirable accomplishment for a country so small, competing with nations that likely have a larger talent pool to draw from.
And I'm so, so proud.
I'm a mom, let me gush, okay?
Being number three never felt so good.
