Having mostly grown up in Korea, Back to School shopping is a foreign concept to me. When I first heard about back to school shopping from some of my friends in jr. high school and high school, I was like, WHAT? You get a whole new set of clothes before starting school? It sounded like a fabulous idea to me but I was too scared to mention it to my dad or step mom. She must have learned about it some other way though because one time she took us to K-mart and we got to buy some school supples. No clothes or shoes, but still, I was happy.
I've encountered everything from high praise to absolute hatred for Crocs. I'm somewhere in between. I do think they could be a bit cheaper. I got my pair from Costco.. ha ha. What about doing something like TOMS and donating a pair to a poor kid everytime someone rich buys a pair for their kids?
Anyway, are you planning to do a lot of back to school shopping for your kids this year? I'm having a hard time just keeping up with which clothes are not fitting and should be removed from the closet. My back to school shopping will probably consist of browsing the local yard sales to try and find clothes for my 4.5 year old... he seems to be growing out of his last batch. The younger one wears mostly hand-me-downs and doesn't seem to mind at this age (2).
Here's a cute video from Crocs featuring their new line.
