I just marked this as a SPAM comment but it was just too funny not to share. Copied below word for word (I did format a little to make it easier to read.)

 

ATTENTION ASIAPHILES!!! Read below: I was once like yourself, but I cannot cure you. It takes a person training their own mind in order to change your preference. Instead, I will help you another way. Here is a list of tips on how to HIDE your asiaphilia from an asian woman you are attempting to court:

1. Wear sunglasses. The main way asian women can tell a man is an asiaphile by the look in his eyes, and a person can tell a lot about a person just by looking in the other persons eyes (their mood, their attitude, etc.)

2. Make sure you are hygienic. This is a given for in any situation with a woman. Asiaphiles as asians call you, and once called me, are identified by a certain disgusting thing about them. A lot of asians have made the observation that a lot of asiaphiles dont shower, and some dont shave, and some dont do either. Make sure you are shaven and showered in the mornings. Make sure to get those hair cuts every now and then.

I appreciate her "apology" and am glad that at least with the benefit of hindsight, she realized she made a HUGE mistake. What in the WORLD possessed her to post such a thing in the first place, I'll never know.

Speaking of Loving Day...

I love that we have such a diverse group of contributors as well as readers.  For most part, we have very civilized conversations on topics ranging from pop culture to racial/cultural pains... and, for most part, we all learn from each other.  Frequently, we also learn to be better human beings to each other and, those of us who are parents or will be parents, we are constantly learning how to be better parents.  Ultimately, we've sought each other out in hopes that we will be able to teach our children to face any adversity with quiet but firm dignity, that we may lean on each other in times of our own need, whenever we ourselves are faced with the ugliness that is ignorance, and that we may share some laughter and joy.  This is what the founders of Kimchi Mamas had to say in the beginning.

Alas, as with any public forum such as blogs, we do get people who will comment out of turn, who will completely miss why we are having any of these conversations in the first place and try to push his/her own agenda.  Of course, we do reserve the right to ban any repeat offenders.  Often, being spicy and fiery mamas that we are, we will comment right back.  One of those readers left a comment a few days ago that, well, felt like a personal attack.
